Defibrillator machine used for?

A defibrillator is an electric machine used to shock the heart back into a normal rhythm. When a person's has cardiac arrest, the electrical signals in the heart become disorganized and the heart quivers or flutters instead of beating effectively. A defibrillator use to send an electric shock through the chest to restore a normal heartbeat. Defibrillation is most effective when it is done within minutes of the heart stopping beating. Defibrillator also known as cardiac defibrillator and heart defibrillator

Why defibrillator machine use?

When a person’s heart stops beating, the lack of blood flow and oxygen can cause brain damage in as little as four minutes. The hope is that by using a defibrillator machine, you can shock the heart and get it started again.
There are two types of shocks that can be given from a defibrillator, monophasic and biphasic. Monophasic shocks have one voltage, while biphasic shocks have two voltages - one for adults and one for children. The type of shock given depends on the patient's weight and size.
Defibrillators are often used during CPR. If someone is not responding and has no pulse, a bystander can start CPR and then use a defibrillator if one is available.

How to defibrillator use?

When someone's heart stops beating, it may be necessary to use a defibrillator machine to shock the heart and make it start beating again. To use a defibrillator machine, you must first determine if the person is having a cardiac arrest. If they are not responding and have no pulse, then they are most likely in cardiac arrest, and you should begin CPR immediately. If there is a pulse, but the person is not responding or breathing, then they may also be in cardiac arrest, and you should begin CPR immediately.

If you determine that the person is in cardiac arrest, open the defibrillator machine and remove the adhesive pads from the packaging. The adhesive pads will be placed on the person's chest. If there is another person helping you, one person should start CPR while the other applies the adhesive pads to the person's chest.

To use a defibrillator, follow these simple steps:

1- Press the start button of the defibrillator.
2- Attach conducting material patch on chest.
3- Conducting or liquid gel place on the paddles.
4- Select energy to delivers.
5- Press charge button to charge the machine and wait 10 second.
6- Paddles attach on the chest and don't touch the patient and bed.
7- Push button both paddles at the same time.
8- Continue compressions until the patient shows signs of life or the defibrillator instructs you to stop, so it can re-assess the heartbeat.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the defibrillator is a life-saving machine that can be used to revive someone who has gone into cardiac arrest. It is important to know how to use a defibrillator in case of an emergency, and everyone should learn CPR as well.

*Note-When using a defibrillator machine, it’s important to follow the instructions carefully.
