Lumis 150 VPAP ST is a noninvasive ventilator designed for non-dependent with obstructive or restrictive respiratory conditions.
Featuring ResMed’s unique volume-assurance mode – iVAPS (intelligent Volume-Assured Pressure Support) – Lumis 150 VPAP ST maintains target alveolar ventilation to suit each user’s changing needs. And with an intelligent Backup Rate (iBR) and optional AutoEPAP, iVAPS continuously monitors ventilation and the upper airway.
The ventilator is easy to set up and use, and is supported by ResMed’s ResScan™ management software.
Key Features & Benefits of Resmed Lumis 150 VPAP ST BIPAP TriPack:
- iVAPS learns each usert’s unique alveolar ventilation, sets appropriate targets, then provides smooth pressure support to suit.
- intelligent Backup Rate (iBR)* gives users maximum opportunity to trigger the ventilator. Staying out of the way until needed, iBR adds backup breaths to comfortably bring users back to target. *Available in iVAPS and ST modes.
- AutoEPAP** maintains upper airway patency by auto-adjusting the expiratory pressure in response to partial and full obstructions. **Available in iVAPS mode.
- Vsync provides excellent user–ventilator synchrony, even in the presence of significant leak.
- TiControl™ lets you set min and max limits on either side of the user’s ideal inspiratory time to encourage spontaneous breathing.
- Trigger and cycle helps you optimise settings according to the user’s condition, using five trigger and cycle sensitivity levels.
- QuickNav for low-touch therapy adjustment. By simply double-clicking the home button on the device, you can toggle between the Settings and Monitoring screens to change and check settings quickly and easily.
- Climate Control Auto for automatic humidification. When used with a HumidAir™ heated humidifier and ClimateLineAir™ heated tube, Lumis delivers humidification automatically – no settings to change and no complicated menus to navigate.
- Ramp and Ramp Down for extra comfort. Lumis offers both Ramp and Ramp Down features to help users ease into and out of each therapy session.
- ResScan software for advanced clinical insights. ResScan enables you to download your user’s therapy data, change ventilator settings, and gain insight into their therapy progress across a number of metrics (including AHI, leak and pressure). High-resolution data (at 25 Hz) is also available for breath-by-breath analysis and even greater insight.

Pressure relief is a feature that lowers your therapy pressure to help with difficulties breathing against the machine's airflow, providing a more comfortable and natural breathing pattern assistance can occur on the Exhalation, on the inhalation and on both exhalation and inhalation at the same time.
The ramp feature allows the user to start treatment at a lower pressure to fall asleep with gradually raising the pressure over a set time, this is a comfort setting and can set from 0 to 60 minutes on most CPAP machine.

With the help of this features identify which cpap/bipap machine has inbuilt humidifier. Inbuilt humidifier can't be separated from cpap/bipap.
- Yes
This feature identifies how the machine incorporates a heated humidifier. Build in humidifier are built into the CPAP/Bipap machine and cannot be separated from the machine and integrated humidifiers connect directly to the CPAP machine, and they can only be used with compatible CPAP.bipap machines. With integrated humidifier, the device can be separated and used without the humidifier. CPAP/BiPAP machine that do not have a built-in humidifier and do not have an integrated humidifier option have to use a stand-alone humidifier as the machine heated humidifier option. A stand-alone humidifier can be used with any machine and connect to the CPAP/BiPAP with an additional hose.
